Greetings Family Homeschool Baseball Parents and Players,
It is the time of year for the sights and sounds of baseball. The 2016 season also brings new opportunities for growth and leadership. For the past ten seasons I have watched as the boys and girls of our league have grown and become young men and women. I have been blessed to be part of a great organization like FHSB – as a parent, coach, and General Manager. For the past 4 seasons I have also served as the League Commissioner. Our family is transitioning to competitive high school baseball such that “my time at bat” is now over.
FHSB needs a League Commissioner for 2016
The League Commissioner is the central authority for the league and serves with the FHSB board.
The League Commissioner povides oversight over each of the areas below as well coordinating with the General Managers, the umpire coordination, scheduling, and weather notifications.
League tasks which need volunteers:
*Player/team registration *Uniform ordering and distribution
*Payment Collection *Equipment inventory and replenishment
*Photography Coordination *Award Selection and Order
*Picnic Hostess Supplies and Water *League Notifications/Communications
FHSB needs 4 General Managers to serve with the League Commissioner in 2016.
A General Manager for each division is needed.
The League Divisions are T Ball, Machine Pitch, Player Pitch and Senior.
FHSB needs Team Coaches and Assistant Coaches for 2016
FHSB is a volunteer organization which needs volunteers NOW to step up to the plate and play their best game. Without volunteers the league does not survive.
For 2016, if the needed volunteers do not come forward, then the league will have no other choice but to cancel the season.
Please be prayerful for what role you need to fulfill this season.
As we always tell our teams…..We play this game of baseball 1st to honor God, 2nd to have fun playing the game.
May we be able to say in 2016, “PLAY BALL!”

Family Homeschool Baseball
Family Homeschool Baseball is a Christ-Centered instructional baseball league open to all Home-Educated children from 5-16 years of age.
Our desire is to allow home-educated children the opportunity to experience playing a sport without the highly competitive atmosphere of other leagues.
Each child is allowed to play regardless of skills and is encouraged as they learn and improve each week.
We believe that parent involvement is a must in training our children so we encourage parents to coach, teach, and umpire.
